The El Dorado Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit umbrella organization that encourages and supports the arts and acts as a catalyst to enrich and educate the community through the advancement of all of the arts.

Donations are fully tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. If you purchase your membership online, you will receive an email with more information.

EDAC Membership has benefits!

  • Artist members (visual, performing and literary artists) are invited to participate in gallery shows at ArtSpace, located at 459 Main Street in Placerville.
  • Arts Educator (school administrators, teachers, Parent Teacher Organizations, etc., $45) receive special notification of Arts in Education grants, workshops, program materials, and conferences.
  • Arts Advocate (individuals, $100) receive a coupon for $10 off a purchase at ArtSpace! Plus, hanging fees at ArtSpace are waived for artist Arts Advocates.
  • Business / Nonprofit ($200 / $55) members are linked from our website, acknowledged in multiple ways in print and electronic media, and receive a special window decal identifier. Business members ($200), also receive a coupon for free wine tasting at El Dorado Hills Art & Wine Affaire on Mother’s Day Weekend!
  • Arts Lover ($250) receive two coupons for free wine tasting at El Dorado Hills Art & Wine Affaire on Mother’s Day Weekend!  Plus free admissions to special events at ArtSpace.
  • Arts Patron ($500) receive two coupons for free wine tasting at El Dorado Hills Art & Wine Affaire on Mother’s Day Weekend, plus two tickets to Imagination Theater; community theater at its best! Four great shows to choose from in 2013 http://www.imagination-theater.org. Plus free admissions to special events at ArtSpace.
  • Benefactor ($1,000) Arts Benefactor recognition at ArtSpace, season tickets for two to Imagination Theater, four great shows in 2013 http://www.imagination-theater.org, plus free admissions to special events at ArtSpace.
  • Directors Circle ($2500*) Directors Circle recognition at EDAC events and at ArtSpace. VIP seating for two at Apassionato, October 26, 2013.
  • Innovators Circle ($5000*) Arts Innovator recognition at EDAC events and at ArtSpace. VIP seating for four at Apassionato, October 26, 2013.
