Poem On!

An incredible program of art, poetry and discovery at Gold Trail School, funded by EDAC and California Poets in the Schools, that culminated in a Poetry Lounge at ArtSpace on April 30.
Said Program Administrator Moira Magneson to the students: ”You are making history tonight. This is the largest group of poets ever gathered together in one place in El Dorado County history!” Read more.

There are still volunteer slots open for this Mother’s Day weekend event, which generally draws over 15,000 visitors and has live music both days (May 11 & 12).
Please call or email right away! Call Moira at (530) 295-3496 or emailEDAC@eldoradoartscouncil.org. Please include name, phone & email PLUS preferred date, time slot and activity in your message, along with a second choice if possible. Slots are filling up fast, so hurry!

“A Walk in the Park” Gallery Show
April 2-May 18 at ArtSpace
ArtSpace has been converted into an indoor park complete with trees, sculptures, and even a puppy!
 Watch five muralists perform their art throughout the month-and-a-half long theme. Leave your mark on our huge chalkboard.
