Placerville's Community
Mural, A Thread of Gold
Appearing Now on
Main Street!
It's worth making a special trip to downtown Placerville
to see the first panels of the collaborative community
mural, now being installed on the chain link fence surrounding the old
Herrick building.
Local artists and students contributed to the collage entitled "A
Thread of Gold," which shows individual interpretations of what
connects us to our community. The Arts Council project is being managed
by talented muralists Jaime Jensen and Sheri Hoeger. If you'd like to
donate to make more panels possible, please contact EDAC.
