        Solitude

Pick out one face

In the crowd of Sweet Williams

Like all the others

Description: River by the GlassAnd it calls to you

What makes you choose

This particular one

For a brief moment

Of anomaly?

A slightly deeper purple, maybe

A more defined burst of white

A larger crown or taller stem

Sends its head higher than others

Maybe this one selects

You in the crowd of human faces

Choosing your face

From all the others
